Conservative Party Conference - The NHS in transition: can community and primary care lead the shift?

Re:State is delighted to be hosting a private roundtable event at the Conservative Party Conference.

In Government, the Conservative Party consistently prioritised delivering a healthcare system that is efficient, innovative, and built around the needs of patients. Initiatives such as the rollout of Primary Care Networks, investment in integrated care models and the pioneering Pharmacy First reflect a commitment to delivering care closer to home and at lower cost.

The success of these initiatives will continue to depend on the strength of the primary care ecosystem, including community pharmacies. These vital providers are already delivering accessible frontline care which is more convenient for the public and relieves pressure on overburdened GPs.

Re:State is delighted to welcome Dr Luke Evans MP, Shadow Parliamentary Under Secretary for Health and Social Care to share his priorities for strengthening community-based care.

This private roundtable will be held in-person and will take place under the Chatham House rule. This event is kindly sponsored by Community Pharmacy England.
