Enterprise-driven growth: the Conservative vision for renewing the economy

Recent economic data has made for grim reading. Growth is stagnant,
business confidence low and inflation is up. Britain, along with many Western
European nations, is struggling to compete. But the only route to a dynamic,
growing economy is through business and investment.

That means creating the conditions for free enterprise and entrepreneurship
to flourish. Government has a key role to play in this, ensuring Britain has the
right infrastructure, workforce, regulation and tax system to make it the most
attractive place to start, grow and invest in business enterprises.
