Labour Party Conference: 'From ambition to action: practical steps to AI adoption in UK businesses'

Artificial intelligence has the potential to transform productivity, strengthen competitiveness and support economic growth across the UK. Yet while the conversation around AI has often focused on frontier innovation, the challenge now is ensuring that businesses of all sizes and sectors can successfully adopt and deploy these technologies in practice. 

Many firms recognise the opportunities AI presents but continue to face barriers to implementation. From access to skills and leadership capability, to navigating questions of trust, governance and investment, turning ambition into action remains a significant challenge. Supporting businesses to adopt AI confidently and responsibly will be essential if the UK is to realise the full economic benefits of this technological shift.
