Dr Emma Stanton

A medical doctor by background, Emma has worked in and around healthcare for over 25 years. For the last 5 years, she has held leadership roles at the intersection between clinical impact, technology and life sciences, at Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc and then at the Ellison Institute of Technology in Oxford.

Emma is passionate about transforming health care driven by her hands-on clinical experience from the NHS frontlines, private sector operating experience in the USA and UK and policy experience in the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).

Emma is a former Commonwealth Fund Harkness Fellow in Healthcare Policy and Practice (2010-2011) and from 2011-2021 was a senior associate at the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness, Harvard Business School, USA.
